How to join


1. Complete the online Application for Admission Form.
Please note: On application, you will need to provide payment of
the $140 nomination fee.

2. Once you have submitted the online Application for Admission
Form, you will receive an automated email.
You will then need to fill in the Membership Application
e-form:

To view the 2011/2012 IPA Membership Fees.

3. Print your completed Membership Application e-form and post it
to the IPA Head Office along wtih certified true copies of
your:
- qualifications;
- work experience (excluding Associate applicants); and
- two professional references.
4. Your application may take up to two weeks to be assessed. This
is dependant upon whether or not further documentation is required
from you.
If this is the case, you will be contacted. If your application
is successful you will receive your IPA membership certificate and
welcome pack in the mail.

If you have been a member previously and would like to rejoin
us, please follow the following step.
1. Please print and complete the Membership Application Form
and post to the IPA Head Office.

Applications for membership will be assessed with regard to
academic qualifications and relevant work experience.
Overseas applicants for membership will normally be expected to
hold an Accounting degree which is considered to be equivalent to
an Australian undergraduate degree.
Applicants who are currently members of overseas accounting bodies
which are themselves members of the International Federation of
Accountants (IFAC) will also normally be eligible for membership of
the Institute of Public Accountants and are accordingly encouraged
to apply.
Please note that the actual level of membership will be determined
by the nature and level of academic qualifications and the nature
of relevant work experience.
