Bookkeeping and BAS Agent Qualifications

The IPA offers training and skills recognition for the latest
nationally recognised bookkeeping qualification FNS40210
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
The Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is one of the minimum
educational qualifications for BAS agents. It includes the
two units of competency required to satisfy the additional BAS
agent education requirement of an approved course in basic
GST/BAS taxation principles.
Our program is delivered in partnership with DeakinPrime, the
corporate education arm of Deakin University. For many years
DeakinPrime has designed and delivered effective corporate
education initiatives in a range of business areas for
organisations in Australia, reaching over 40,000 students
annually.
Our Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is delivered in distance
learning mode with the added benefit of DeakinPrime's online portal
allowing students to access learning materials, submit work and
obtain feedback.
The program is particularly suitable for candidates currently
working in bookkeeping roles who are seeking a formal qualification
to enhance and confirm their existing knowledge and skills.
Our flexible enrolment and payment arrangements mean you can
start when you are ready and pay as you progress through the
program.

Applications will be processed weekly throughout the year,
commencing 16 January 2012. You can usually start your first
unit within approximately two weeks of your application being
processed.
To apply now, complete the Application Form and submit
with your payment to the IPA.
Applications and payment are made through the IPA. Your details
will be passed on to DeakinPrime who will contact you by email to
complete a simple online enrolment process.

An information pack has been mailed to all students currently
enrolled with the IPA in FNS40207 Certificate IV in Financial
Services (Bookkeeping).
The pack provides details of options for transferring to the
latest version of the qualification with DeakinPrime and includes
