Offshore Applicants
To be successful under the General Skills Migration (GSM)
category, all offshore applicants must be assessed by the IPA as
having:
- a formal qualification assessed as at least comparable to an
Australian Bachelor degree;
- completed at least 9 of the 12 core knowledge areas noted at a
tertiary level. Each nominated occupation has 4 mandatory
core knowledge areas; and
- an IELTS Academic Test Report Form (TRF) showing a band score
of at least 7 in each of the four components. This form must
be not more than two years old from the test date shown on the
TRF.
