Contributions to Super – Shirley will explain the different types of contributions to super and how monies and assets can be contributed.

Session 8

Accessing SMSF Benefits - Pensions – How to get the most of your SMSF.

Mark will revise the various conditions of release for accessing super and whether there are any restrictions on the way a person’s super can be accessed. This will include consideration of why you need to focus on fund members aged 60 – 64.

There will also be a review of the rules for account based pensions and transition to retirement income streams and what is required when a member with a TRIS meets a condition of release or turns 65. Various pension strategies will also be covered in this session to maximise a fund’s claim for ECPI, create TBC gap and to equalise member balances for the TBC.
