Student of the Year
We are dedicated to the ongoing support and education of our student members. Being a student member of the IPA puts you on the right path to a career in an industry that is both dynamic and exciting, making you stand out in the job market; sending a strong message to employers that you are professionally qualified.
To show our admiration and publicly acknowledge our student members, we are calling for nominations for Student of the Year. This is the first time the IPA has conducted a national awards campaign of this size and we are very excited to recognise our student members for their hard work and support.
How will this work?
We are asking you to think about a student that has demonstrated one or more of the following attributes:
- contributed to the advancement of the IPA and/or the accounting profession and its objectives; or
- brought a greater recognition and awareness of the IPA and its student members; or
- achieved excellence in their Accounting studies or
- contributed to the community (volunteer work in the community, involvement in university/TAFE societies).
You can nominate a fellow Accounting student; or, if you meet the criteria, even nominate yourself.
Nominations can be made by clicking on the link below and completing the details of both the student you are nominating along with the reasons for nominating.
Entries need to be in by Monday 31 July. Winners will be announced in late August.
The winner will receive two tickets to National Congress, including airfares and accommodation, as well as a profile in the Public Accountant magazine.
