Becoming a member of the IPA will open you to a range of benefits including networking events that are run both nationally and internationally, access to the IPA Mentor Program and our technical resource Professional Assist.

Networking Opportunities

Networking is key to succeeding in the business world. The IPA has a global networking forum to give students easy access to the latest in technical updates and the ability to connect with accounting professionals from around the globe. Throughout the year, the IPA runs various events not just in Australia, but also around the world in countries such as the UK, China and New Zealand These events aren’t only a great way for members to network, they also provides the opportunity to hear from industry professionals on areas such as taxation, regulations, SMSF and more.

In addition to our events, IPA members also run small local Discussion Groups, all members are invited to attend these group sessions. The sessions provide you valuable opportunities to connect with experienced IPA members.

Professional Assist gives members access to specialist advisors, providing a broad data centre aimed to assist members in unravelling specific regulatory issues. Professional Assist is a great learning tool, allowing you to learn from questions, previously asked by other members.
