Located in the picturesque Margaret River region, The Pullman Bunker Bay Resort is the venue for the 2019 WA Regional Congress. This event will provide delegates with continuing professional education, extensive networking opportunities and a forum to view the latest products and services the accounting and finance industry has to offer.

Just three hours south of Perth, Pullman Bunker Bay Resort Margaret River is an impressive beachfront conference venue set in the idyllic getaway destination of Bunker Bay. As a 5 star resort, the hotel is made up of 150 luxuriously appointed villas spread throughout 35 acres of landscaped native gardens, with boardwalk access to the beach.

Function rooms are naturally lit and beautifully appointed, providing an extensive range of presentation and conference tools, including video conferencing equipment, and audio, video and projection equipment.

Alongside its superb conference facilities, the hotel also features a wide range of leisure facilities, including a bar and restaurant with stunning views over the bay, a fully equipped fitness centre, tennis courts and a 25 meter temperature controlled infinity pool. Situated in the Margaret River wine region, the hotel also provides excellent access to the area’s wineries, as well as a range of other activities, including surfing, golf and seasonal whale watching.

Margaret River Region

Just a three-hour drive south of Perth, the Margaret River region has some of the most varied scenery in Australia. A trip to the Margaret River region promises gourmet food, unspoilt beaches, friendly locals and stunning scenery. You can stock up on cheese and wine, go fruit picking, truffle hunting and visit a farm and harvest some local ingredients. Alternatively, if you're the more adventurous type, you can ride shotgun in a helicopter, go horseback riding in the countryside or even take a selfie with a kangaroo.

Getting there

The IPA have organised a bus charter from Perth to Bunker Bay on Wednesday 27 March. Returning to Perth on Friday 29 March following the conference and a second one on Sunday 31 March.

Delegates can drive south by car, taking the Kwinana Freeway from Perth, onto Forrest Highway and passing Bunbury you continue the route via Bussell Highway. The drive takes just over 3 hours.

Alternatively the South West Coach Lines depart daily from Elizabeth Quay Bus Port and Perth Airport if the IPA bus charter doesn’t suit your time schedule!

Registration Check-In

The registration desk will be open from:

  • Wednesday 27 March – 3.00pm – 6.00pm
    We will have a reception desk in the hotel lobby. Please collect your lanyard (and your partners’) prior to heading down to the beach for the Welcome Reception
  • Thursday 28 March – 8.00am to 4.30pm
    The Congress Registration desk will be at the entry to the conference room. If you did not collect your lanyard on Wednesday evening it will be available to collect from here. We will hand out all delegate bags and hard copy notes on Thursday.
