What is an Accounting Technician?
Technicians are expert consultants who are highly skilled and have the skill set to support successful businesses. Technicians are exposed to different parts of a small business such as processes and systems, software, planning and implementation, advisory, compliance, HR and payroll.
An ‘Accounting Technician’ is a globally recognised term for professionals in the accounting industry, eventually, the role of a BAS agent or Bookkeeper will evolve into a more proactive advisory role and this course prepares you for the evolution, giving you a head start.
Completing this course helps you move one step closer to becoming an Accounting Technician, giving you the knowledge and confidence to support the needs of your own business or client.
Certified Accounting Technicians in practice have the capacity to offer advice and support to small businesses and are held to professional and ethical standards and a legislated code of conduct.
