CPD - Terms and Conditions

General

Upon request, course materials can be sent to registrants who cancel in the non-refund penalty period. Substitutions can be made without penalty however advanced notice is required in writing so relevant CPD hours can be allocated to the attendee of the event. In the case of substitutions, any fee differences are required to be made before the commencement of the event. Attendees registered to attend IPA events will receive the allocated CPD hours.

Code of Conduct

The IPA celebrates and promotes diversity and inclusiveness and that conduct contrary to those values will be treated as a breach of the Code of Conduct. Further, the IPA has a professional relationship with every member, and we want to keep it that way. All IPA members/non-members are expected to act with the utmost integrity and professionalism, upholding IPA’s ethical and professional standards of behaviour at all times towards IPA employees, Officers, each other and towards attendees at IPA hosted and other events.

Cancellation Policy

Webinars

Cancellations must be advised in writing at least 48 hours prior to the activity date. A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend an activity. CPD hours will be removed if the delegate does not attend the event. The IPA cancels webinars only when absolutely necessary, but reserves the right to do so, as well as to reschedule events and substitute presenters. If an event is cancelled, you may request to transfer the credit to another event, keep the credits on your account, or request full refund. The credit will expire after 6 months if it has not been used.

On-Demand Webinars Recordings

A refund will not be granted for On-Demand Webinar Recordings if the attendee has accessed or fails to access the recording. Refunds due to technical issues - audio visual or unable to view the recording will be at the discretion of the IPA.

Face-to-face Seminars

Cancellations must be advised in writing at least 6 working days prior to the activity date. A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend an activity or cancels within 5 working days prior to the event. CPD hours will be removed if the delegate does not attend the event. The IPA cancels events seminars only when absolutely necessary, but reserves the right to do so, as well as to reschedule events and substitute presenters. If an event is cancelled, you may request to transfer the credit to another event, keep the credits on your account, or request full refund. The credit will expire after 6 months if it has not been used. Please note the IPA will not be held liable for any accommodation or associated travel costs should a seminar be cancelled or rescheduled. Should the event be cancelled due to local or national government restrictions, delegates will be provided with either a credit or refund.

Major Events

Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will incur a 100% penalty. A refund will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend the event. Course materials will be sent to registrants who cancel in the non-refund penalty period upon request. Substitutions can be made at any time without penalty. If the replacement is not a member, the non-member registration fee will apply. All replacements and cancellations must be made in writing. Should the event be cancelled due to local or national government restrictions, delegates will be provided with either a credit or refund.

COVID-19 Face-to-Face Events

A full refund may be requested if you are unable to attend an event due to COVID-19 restrictions, infection or have been indentified as a close contact.

Photography & Filming Consent

You consent to filming, sound recording and photography of the event as an attendee and consent to the use by IPA of any such recording or photography anywhere in the world for promotional and other purposes. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise IPA staff at the registration desk or by emailing [email protected].

IPA CPD Discount Vouchers - Terms and Conditions

  • All validation will be done via CRM stored procedure.
  • Minimum event price $100 before voucher can be used
  • Vouchers may only be redeemed online at the IPA website.
  • Vouchers can only be used towards the purchase of CPD events run by the IPA, and not in conjunction with any other provider or service offered by the IPA.
  • Only one voucher may be used per CPD event per member.
  • Each voucher must be redeemed in full and the remaining amount will not be refunded or credited on expiry.
  • If the CPD event exceeds the amount of the voucher, the balance must be paid by other payment options.
  • Vouchers can only be used for any CPD product excluding the Professional Practice Program
  • Vouchers have no cash redemption value.
  • Vouchers expire 90 calendars days from the date of issue.
  • Vouchers expire 6 months from the date of issue.
  • Vouchers cannot be used in arrears to claim for CPD events previously attended.
  • Any unused discount vouchers will not be refunded or credited when expired.
  • The IPA holds the right to refuse any discount voucher if suspected to be fraudulent.

Cancellation Policy – CPD Discount Vouchers

  • In the event of a cancellation of event by the IPA where a voucher has been redeemed, the voucher will be reissued to the member by the IPA for use at a future event.
  • In the event of cancellation by a member, the voucher can be transferred to a replacement attendee or event nominated by the member within the 6 months from purchase time frame.
  • In the event of cancellation by a member where no replacement attendee or event is nominated, the voucher is voided.
  • Vouchers are issued on the understanding that the member has read and understood these terms and conditions.
  • The IPA reserves the right to change any terms and conditions contained in these terms of use at any time.
  • In the event of a cancellation of event by the IPA where a voucher has been redeemed, the voucher will be reissued to the member by the IPA for use at a future event.

IPA Event App Policy

  • Please note by using the IPA event app, your data will not be shared to any other parties unless you have specifically consented too this is inclusive of entering the sponsor business card draw.
