Nominations for Divisional Advisory Committee
Call for Nominations for appointment to the Divisional Advisory Committees of the Institute of Public Accountants Group.
The Nominations Committee of the Institute of Public Accountants Group is seeking expressions of interest from eligible members to be considered for appointment to the Divisional Advisory Committee (DAC), for their respective division. Those retiring members wishing to re-nominate will be required to resubmit applications.
The below table shows the IPA Group DACs. The Nominations Committee will make appointments to each of the DACs with terms commencing from the conclusion of the Annual Divisional Advisory Committee Meeting.

The term of office for these DAC positions shall be 1, 2 or 3 years commencing at the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting. The staggering of terms shall be at the discretion of the Nominations Committee to ensure a rolling cycle of annual appointments.
The selection process is merit-based, and the Nominations Committee will be seeking to ensure the DACs reflect the diversity of the IPA Group membership including the segments of specialisation such as:
- Professional Practice
- Professional Accountant in Business
- Not-for-profit/public sector/academic/other
Members will be required to submit the prescribed form (IPA 005) and a Statement in support of their application via an online form. Members must ensure they have contacted their nominators prior to submitting the nomination.
It is not envisaged that interviews will be held for the DAC positions. The determination of the Nominations Committee shall be final, strictly confidential and no discussion will be entered into on the outcome.
For your nomination to be valid, you must ensure you have completed the following:
- Nomination form endorsed and signed by yourself and two eligible members; and
- The Statement in support of your application.

The information required to complete the form includes:
- Details of your eligible endorsee’s,
- Your member number and length of membership tenure,
- Your employer’s name and position held
- What contribution/s would you make to the Divisional Advisory Committee (50 words max)
- Prior involvement with the Institute (50 words max)
- Involvement with other organisations / community contributions (50 words max)
- Any other information in support of your application (50 words max)

FULLY VERIFIED applications must be strictly received by 5.00pm AEST on Friday 4th July 2025. Late and/or incomplete applications received after this time will not be accepted.
