The IPA offers University and TAFE accounting students who have graduated in the last three years, a significantly discounted professional membership to assist in the transition from a student to Associate member (GAIPA) in their early career years.

GAIPA membership will provide you with all of the benefits that full membership provides, but at a discounted fee.

You will receive full access to the IPA's tools and resources including:

FIRST YEAR

Join the IPA as a GAIPA member for just $149 for the first year of membership.
 

SECOND YEAR: ENROL IN THE IPA PROGRAM

Enrol in the IPA Program Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting) in your second year of membership and you will continue to pay the introductory fee of just $149.
Following the first year, this fee is available to you for three years while you are enrolled in the IPA Program.

Upon completion of the IPA Program you may apply for advancement to the IPA flagship level of Member (MIPA), provided you have completed th IPA Mentored Work Experience requirements.

Your membership fee over four years, at GAIPA will be just $596; versus $1,046 if you do not enrol in the IPA Program.*

SECOND YEAR: DO NOT ENROL IN THE IPA PROGRAM

If you do not wish to enrol in the IPA Program in your second year of membership, the GAIPA membership fee will increase to$199, and then in increments of $100 every year thereafter. For example; year 1: $149; year 2: $199; year 3: $299; year 4: $399 and year 5: $499.
