Good360
We are excited to announce that Good360 are our new corporate social responsibility partner.
Good360 is a Not-for-Profit organisation which provides Australian charities with free, brand new goods, delivered to their door. They make charitable-giving simpler, more efficient and more effective by connecting businesses that have excess goods with charities who need them.
Good360 has a unique online marketplace providing charities a seamless process that links ordering, shipping, warehousing operations and member support. Through this innovative technological approach, Good360 is able to do good for businesses, charities, individuals and the environment. Businesses can donate excess product in a cost-effective and socially responsible way, while improving employee engagement and their bottom line. Charities can save money, expand programs and strengthen their impact.
After 30 years in the US, Good360.org.au launched in Australia in March 2015 and has seen rapid growth ever since, receiving over $20M of donated goods from their partners including BIG W, L'Oréal, Lush, Moose Toys, Winc (formerly Staples) & 3M. They currently serve over 490 registered charities, Australia wide, connecting them to donated, brand new goods. The organisation inspires a culture of collaboration, and quote “we don’t replicate - we innovate!”
The work carried out by Good360 is a good fit for the IPA’s CSR Program as they assist so many worthy charities and their recipients. Their work is unique in the provision of goods, which are new and of quality, to people in need.
The IPA’s involvement initially will be to increase awareness of the Good360 organisation and its operations; spreading the word to other organisations and companies that may be in a position to contribute to the Good360 cause. We will do this across our various communication channels and seek other ways to support Good360 in the months to come.
