IPA APPLAUDS SMALL BUSINESS OMBUDSMAN APPOINTMENT

The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) has extended congratulations to Ms Kate Carnell for her appointment as Australia’s first small business and family enterprise ombudsman.
“We are thrilled with the Minister’s selection of Kate Carnell AO to be the first ombudsman of its kind in Australia,” said IPA chief executive officer, Andrew Conway.

“The IPA has a long association with Ms Carnell in her former role as chief executive of ACCI and we look forward to working with her in this critical role.

“We share a common vision and passion for small business and recognise how critical the sector is to the Australian economy. We wish her all the very best in the new role,” said Mr Conway.
