LIELETTE CALLEJA JOINS AAT AS CHIEF ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

18 January 2021

The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) is pleased to welcome Lielette Calleja in the role of chief accounting technician with Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), which since midway in 2020 transitioned to be part of the IPA Group.

“We are very pleased with Lielette’s appointment,” said IPA chief executive officer, Andrew Conway.

“Ms Calleja is highly regarded in the accounting and bookkeeping fields with a long history of advocating for the profession.

“While Ms Calleja runs her own business, All That Counts (www.allthatcounts.com.au) in Sydney, a leading and award-winning cloud accounting and bookkeeping firm, she will add a strong and credible voice to represent the interests of AAT members.

“Ms Calleja brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of financial accounting, budgeting, bookkeeping, and management accounting.

“Importantly, Ms Calleja will champion the continuous professional development for members, recognising the need for upskilling BAS agents to ensure their skills remain relevant for tomorrow and the years to come,” said Mr Conway.

In accepting the role, Ms Calleja said, “It’s an exciting time to be part of the profession to make a tangible response to the changes coming from client expectations, technology, and regulation. I am thrilled to be part of the solution with the AAT/IPA.”
