How to Apply

Process for new members

When applying to join the IPA, you have two application options to choose from - a fast track online application, or a paper-based application that you can download and send to us.

  1. Complete the fast track online application
  2. Once you have completed the online application, you will receive an automated email, advising you of the steps required to finalise your application

Print and complete a Membership Application Form, and post it to the IPA office in your State.

Please note that the application process incurs a non-refundable application fee.  For information on our membership fees, please click here.

Your application may take up to two weeks to be assessed. This is dependant upon whether or not further documentation is required from you. If this is the case, we'll contact you. If your application is successful, you will receive your IPA membership certificate and welcome pack in the mail.

Process for returning members

If you have been a member previously and would like to reinstate your membership or rejoin the IPA, all you need to do is print and complete the Membership Reinstatement or Rejoin Application Form and post it to the IPA office in your state.
