2022 Federal Budget Breakfast

FBB22 Webheader

In celebration of our 25th anniversary, IPA & CBC are hosting the Federal Budget Breakfast ‘back up on the hill’.

This highly anticipated event will focus the spotlight on the Government’s economic policies and provide reactions from the Opposition. Australia’s economy has demonstrated remarkable resilience, and sustained economic growth is the key to both budget restoration and funding the structural expenditure programs. The contents of the Budget and the reaction from the wider business community will also be influential in shaping the result of the Federal Election that is right around the corner.

The Federal Budget Breakfast will be a hybrid event, ensuring more attendees can be amongst the buzz of post-Budget Day. With journalists clamouring to get the first interviews with key Ministers and Shadow Minister, we will bring you right into the thick of it and break down the Budget’s impact on business.

This year’s panel will feature addresses from The Hon Michael Sukkar Assistant Treasurer, Minister for Housing, and Minister for Homelessness, Social and Community Housing and The Hon Stephen Jones Shadow Assistant Treasurer and Shadow Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation. There will also be a Q&A discussion moderated by political journalist, Karen Middleton who will also be our facilitator for the event.

This event offers a unique opportunity to network with other business leaders as we look toward navigating out of the pandemic.
