Day Trip to Windsor Castle and Oxford

An early start as we meet for a day trip to London’s countryside. Our first stop will take us to the Queens preferred weekend residence and the wedding location of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Windsor Castle. From here we will travel to Oxford for a tour of the most famous university city in the World, home to Oxford University and the Oxford Dictionary as well as many film locations of the movie series, Harry Potter. Through the day you will be given ample opportunity to get to know one another before the week ahead.

Anti-Money Laundering & The London Stock Exchange

An anti-money laundering expert will provide the delegation with insight on critical topics like risk
management, customer due diligence, sanctions and regulatory developments, plus guidance to address emerging challenges including virtual currencies, online gambling and trade-based money laundering. From here, we will visit the London Stock Exchange where you will gain valuable insight into one of the largest stock exchanges in the world.

We will then head to the Coca-Cola London eye, Europe’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel for an unforgettable view of the city.

Brexit and the London Economy

The macro-scene of the financial landscape will be set by discussing the UK perspective and the impact of Brexit. Afterwards delegates will tour Lloyd’s of London followed by a UK risk & economy session.

From here, Delegates will depart to the distinctive ‘Walkie Talkie Building’ which is the 12th tallest in London and the home of Gabelle Tax Consultants. As international tax specialists they will be well placed to provide an overview of the international tax issues and solutions available. Delegates will get the opportunity to enjoy the view on level 38th floor.

Delegates will then be left to their leisure for the evening.

Applying your Learnings

We will begin the morning with an exclusive presentation at the Bank of England. Delegates will then be given the opportunity to explore the museum. From here, we will head to the IFA offices for a presentation from Mattoli Woods on UK Pensions. IPA CEO, Andrew Conway will conclude the afternoon with a session on how to relate your learnings thus far back to your practice. We will then
embark on a guided Red Bus Experience around London. Delegates will have a free evening. See our optional extras for an evening experience.

IFA London Conference

Spend a full day at the IFA 2020 London conference. You will hear from industry professionals on topics including UK Tax, Financial Reporting, Fraud, Practice Development and Technology. We will also enable networking with IFA members to build firm connections.

Delegates will then be given time to refresh for the final farewell evening.
