The Tax Agent Guide Roadshow ensures all professionals working in the tax space and their employees are up to date with the latest changes and developments to Australian Tax Laws in preparation for the 2019 tax return.
The seminar is designed for practitioners and their staff who have responsibility for preparing/reviewing individual and business (partnership, company, trust) tax returns for the 2019 year. The seminar and supporting materials will include reference to the main changes in the law for the past 12 months (cases, rulings and legislation) that are likely to impact on preparing a 2019 income tax return or providing advice to clients. The changes flowing from the 2019 Budget will be incorporated in the material and include all updated rates, thresholds and ceilings
The newly created guidebook and roadshow presentation provides technical updates, insights and discussions exploring the impact of recent tax changes and what it means for you and your clients.
About the presenter:

Lisa has more than 10 years experience in tax consulting and is a true tax consulting generalist. She has worked for a “big four” firm in a variety of roles including corporate tax, tax business school and private enterprise. She also has senior tax consulting and team leadership experience with mid-tier and suburban firms. She has a passion for tax policy, and has participated in many TPB, ATO and IGT consultative forums. She has spoken with Jon Faine on ABC 774 a number of occasions in relation to tax policy.
Lisa also contributes back to the profession through her mentoring and facilitation. She provides in-house training and leads discussion groups, and is also a popular webinar presenter providing practical solutions to sole practitioners. She has a Master’s in Adult Education and facilitates Capstone sessions for the CAANZ.
Lisa is a contributing author to the 2018 Australian Practical Tax Examples publication for Wolters Kluwer CCH. A companion to the Australian Master Tax Guide.
Prior to her “sea change” career in tax, she spent 15 years undertaking global business development for Australia biotech companies, so she is well equipped to assist with the commercialisation of technology, maximizing the incentives offered and the fatal error of not managing cashflow.
