Professional Standards Scheme - Entity

Protect your Entity under the IPA Professional Standards Scheme

IPA members who hold a PPC can include their Entity in the IPA Professional Standards Scheme. This will afford member Entities the protection of the Scheme cap that individual members enjoy.

For your Entity to be admitted into the Scheme, all owners/partners of the Entity must be IPA members and all must hold an IPA PPC. All owners/partners must have professional indemnity insurance that complies with By-law 9.1.11 and the Entity must also be included on the insurance policy.

The cost to have your Entity included in the Scheme is only the annual PSC levy of $90.00. There is no application fee and no other ongoing fees other than the annual PSC levy. Member Entities will need join to the IPA as a member and will be issued with an IPA PPC, if approved. Entity members however are not permitted to vote.

The IPA recommend you consider having your Entity protected under the IPA Professional Standards Scheme so both you and your Entity have some level of protection against litigation.
